Dieketseng Malekele – CEO

At the heart of United Siyafunda's growth is CEO Dieketseng Malekele, whose leadership continues to drive the organisation's vision across communities in South Africa and Lesotho. Her commitment to partnerships, education, and youth development has helped create greater access to STEAM, including and coding and robotics, opportunities.

Palesa – Technical Development Officer

Palesa, as the Technical Development Officer, plays a key role in supporting the technical development of United Siyafunda's programmes. Her contribution helps ensure that learners are exposed to meaningful technology, coding, robotics, and innovation experiences, particularly through initiatives such as the C4M Challenge.

Zinhle Valemini – Coach

Coach Zinhle Valemini has contributed to the development of learners by providing mentorship, technical guidance, and encouragement. Her work has helped learners build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a greater interest in technology.

Kate Malekele – Coach & Access Champion

Kate Malekele, a coach and Access Champion, continues to inspire learners through mentorship, coaching, and community engagement. Her involvement in the C4M Challenge has helped learners develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership while encouraging young people to see themselves as future innovators.

Nthabiseng Mokoena – Intern

Nthabiseng Mokoena has supported programme implementation, learner engagement, and community activities. Her contribution has helped United Siyafunda deliver successful activations and ensure that learners remain supported throughout the C4M journey.

Mfumi Maine – Intern

Mfumi Maine has contributed through communications, media, content creation, stakeholder engagement, and programme support. His work has helped document and amplify the impact of the C4M Challenge across the different United Siyafunda communities

Karabo Theko – United Siyafunda Lesotho

In Lesotho, Karabo Theko has played an important role in supporting the growth of United Siyafunda's programmes. Through learner support, community engagement, and programme coordination, she continues to help expand access to coding and STEAM education in Lesotho.

Women Creating Change Across Communities

From Alexandra, Soweto, Tembisa, Mamelodi, Daveyton, Orange Farm, Ivory Park, and other communities in South Africa to Lesotho, these women are helping create opportunities for young people to learn, compete, innovate, and believe in their potential. The C4M Challenge has highlighted the importance of their contributions from preparing learners and supporting tournaments to coordinating programmes, developing technical solutions, and sharing the stories of communities. United Siyafunda celebrates these women not only for what they have achieved, but for the example they continue to set for the next generation of young African women in technology and leadership.
