Motheo College recently hosted a transformative 10‑Day Training Bootcamp under the African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI), an empowering programme led by UN Women. Facilitated by Dieketseng Nibe, the bootcamp targeted college girls with the mission of equipping them with digital skills to thrive in the 21st century.
Purpose of the Bootcamp
The program’s specific aim was to unpack the ITU Academy module by immersing participants in hands-on coding and robotics activities. Rather than learning in theory alone, the girls were challenged to apply their skills to solve real‑world problems, fostering creativity, logical thinking, critical thinking and collaboration.
