United Siyafunda has set up an action research project in Lesotho, with Holy Family High School kindly agreeing to host this initiative in a typical government school. This project is a deliberate effort to bridge the digital divide, demonstrating how modern tools can open doors for students who have previously been left behind by the lack of connectivity
United Siyafunda has partnered with Holy Family High School to launch a "proof of concept" project, illustrating how modern tools can open doors for students who have previously been excluded due to a lack of internet connectivity. By integrating coding and robotics and generative AI into the daily curriculum, we are providing students with the resources they need to compete in a global landscape.
A core pillar of this initiative is community engagement. We recognize that sustainable educational transformation requires the active participation of parents, local stakeholders, and the broader community. Through these vital connections, we are building a supportive ecosystem around Holy Family High School that reinforces the value of STEAM tools and ensures that digital literacy becomes a shared local priority.
By documenting the improvements in learning outcomes at this school, we aim to prove that technology-enabled education can thrive in any local environment. Ultimately, this project will serve as a national model, informing the Ministry of Education’s future strategic planning and helping to expand digital equity across the country. We are excited to see how this journey empowers our young innovators and reshapes the educational experience for all learners.
