On 31 January, United Siyafunda hosted a second week of an educational exposure visit for learners from Kelekitso Combined Primary School in Soweto as part of its ongoing program to introduce young learners to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). The learners were invited to the MANCOSA campus to experience technology-driven learning beyond the classroom.

The visit focused on introducing learners to emerging technologies, with a special highlight being their exposure to 3D printing. Learners had the opportunity to see 3D printers in action, transforming digital designs into real, tangible objects. Watching their own prototype being printed sparked excitement, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of how ideas can be brought to life through technology.

This hands-on experience allowed learners to connect creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, while broadening their understanding of future careers in science, technology, engineering, and design. For many learners, it was their first time engaging directly with advanced digital tools in a higher education environment.
