On 25 April 2026, United Siyafunda Lesotho achieved a remarkable milestone at the TechFusion event, hosted by Soofia International School in collaboration with MIJS School. Despite being the youngest participants, our team showcased extraordinary talent, proving that age is no barrier to excellence in the world of technology.
The Tech Fusion event gathered young thinkers and future leaders from across the region to celebrate creativity and digital skills. Our team stood out not only for their confidence but for their depth of innovation across three challenging categories:
1. Innovative Projects: Our learners presented creative, technology-driven solutions to real world problems, impressing the judges with their unique approach to problem solving.
2. Presentations & Debates: This category pushed our team to articulate their ideas with clarity and critical insight, demonstrating communication skills far beyond their years.
3. Robot Game: In this high-energy segment, our learners programmed and controlled robots to complete complex tasks, highlighting their strong teamwork, technical precision, and strategic thinking.
Despite competing against older students, the United Siyafunda team delivered an exceptional performance, walking away with two trophies and three certificates.
This achievement is a testament to the passion and hard work of our learners, as well as the dedicated mentorship provided by our team. Success at an event of this caliber reinforces our mission to bridge the digital divide and empower youth through high-quality coding and robotics education.
