United Siyafunda's CEO, Dieketseng Nibe, recently participated in the African Girls Can Code Initiativeās "Train the Trainer" program in Nairobi, Kenya. This significant event, supported by UN Women and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is a key step in our ongoing commitment to bridging the digital divide across the continent.
The program is specifically designed to empower women to thrive in an increasingly technological world, helping them become solution-driven inventors and leaders in the tech space. During the sessions, Dieketseng Nibe engaged with experts on how to best foster skills in robotics coding and digital innovation, reflecting on the vital importance of women in shaping Africa's technological future.
The experience reinforced our focus on mentoring the next generation of young African women. By equipping trainers with the tools to teach these essential skills, we are building a foundation that will inspire countless others to pursue careers in technology. We are proud to bring these insights back to our classrooms as we continue to support and elevate womenintech.
