On 13 February, United Siyafunda hosted an empowering Coding and Robotics workshop in Sebokeng, uniting learners from approximately 10 different schools. Facilitated by dedicated female coaches, Kate and Zinhle, the session offered hands-on technology activities designed to build foundational skills in coding and robotics while fostering problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
The workshop's focus on hands-on interaction with technology strengthened learners' understanding of digital innovation and future careers in the tech space. By featuring female coaches, United Siyafunda reinforced the message of girl power, showcasing that young women belong in science, technology, engineering, and robotics fields.
