We are delighted to report that last night’s webinar hosted by our CEO to celebrate the micro:bit’s 10th birthday was extremely well attended and a great success.
We were particularly pleased to have been joined by Aimée Fagan from the micro:bit Education Foundation. She covered the history of the micro:bit, outlined the immensely supportive work of the Education Foundation and demonstrated the enormous impact that the micro:bit is currently having in schools worldwide
Aimée’s introduction was followed by a presentation by our own Mr G, who explained the reasons for teaching young learners to code and the pivotal role the micro:bit plays in making this possible.
Dr Karen Walstra followed this up with a presentation specifically aimed at the teacher on the pedagogies for micro:bits within the classroom.
The final speaker was David Campey who talked about the role the micro:bit is playing as a resource to enhance his coding club activities.
